This cutting-edge multidisciplinary program investigates the role of global law, policy, and practice in conflict and disaster law during peacetime (such as earthquakes, wildfires, and pandemics). It also takes into account major crises that do not escalate to the level of conflict or tragedy, as well as complicated situations. The program’s goal is to provide students with a critical awareness of how Conflict and Disaster law, policy, and practice influence human and environmental responses to conflict and tragedy.
