Art Gallery and Museum Studies

The Art Gallery and Museum Studies means to furnish a student with a basic understanding of curatorship, museology and museum management. This course considers the manners by which material culture has been addressed and deciphered by students of history and social scholars, the approaches behind museum practice and strategies for show and understanding, and additionally places hypothesis and practice into exchange.

Through the course, the students will foster a basic understanding of the histories of art galleries and museums. During the learning period, students will get a chance to investigate and challenge key thoughts that have formed museum practice. Students can get a chance to visit the museums and galleries where universities aim to nurture their historical and theoretical understandings to foster inventive ways to deal with curation, translation and drawing in front of audiences.
